CUSTOM PRE-WIRED CONTROL PANEL

If you dread the thought of wiring a control panel for your layout and would like BitSwitch to construct a control panel that requires only the connection of the track power to each logical segment (block) and the connection of ONE track contact for each segment (station and merge segments require 2 contacts) Custom Built Master Control Panels are available.

The following is the complete control system for the Hiwan Loop G-Scale Garden Layout that has two lines.  The Valley Line contains 2 blocks and shares a Spur and a Station with a Mountain Line that has 3 Blocks. 

This layout has 1 Station, 1 Spur and 5 Block BitSwitches and will allow the simultaneous operation of 5 to 7 trains. When the Automatic mode is on 1 to 3 trains can run on the "Valley Line"(V1,V2 & S1) stopping at the Station to meet 1 to 4 trains arriving from the "Mountain Line" (M1, M2, M3 & S2) then sharing the main line SP1 before automatically diverting to the "Valley Line".  In the automatic mode at minimum one train must run on each line

The pre-wired control panel below simply requires that track power leads from sections V1, V2, M1, M2, M3, SP1, S1 and S2 be connected to the appropriate "Track Power" barrier strip locations.  Track contact leads must also be connected to the appropriate barrier strip locations for ST1- ST4, SP1, V1, V2, M1 and M3. And of course your DCC power booster must be wired to the power feeds.  For this board there is no AC requirement however an AC power feed is provided should the operator need more power for turnout motors.

As you can see the Control Panel also contains a Lenz LS110 (lower right) accessory switching device that is connected to Turnout Trigger Contacts I & II. This device allows both the automatic routing of traffic in the automatic mode and CAB control (override) of turnouts 01, 02, 03 and the CAB controlled switching from Normal to Automatic mode by addressing 04. Switch 04 is the LGB switch motor and EPL DPDT switch shown as "CAB Operated Section Control" on the bottom of the control panel.
